The Little Things. ~part one of many

When we first started talking I felt something slight

It went away for awhile then came back in sight

You always make me smile

But my heart sank

When we just talked I felt my heart leap a mile

And suddenly I realized I had drank

Forbidden nectar and learned the truth

I wish to sit next to you and have pictures in a booth

I know I am weird and at times dim

But I assure you I am far from slim

For your smile makes even the darkest days bright

And I swear that at the sight I wish to take flight

I hope one day you can see

That you are the part of me

That is filled with happiness and joy

And we two

Will become one

And shall never be done

Because.... I Love You
