The Little town of Menard

The Little town of Menard is where I live.

Ranch land, Farm land and Oak trees are known here.

The San Saba River provides good water to drink and fish here.

Along the river bank are many turkey and deer all so beautiful

I love dear.

I love the little town of Menard is why I live here.

It once was bigger but now it is small. There is a small

highway that has traffic through the town but not a real

busy one to fear.

The smell of this little county town has a good seasonal

fragrances. It fills the air with white clouds

and bright shinning stars at night through the year.

Children go to the ditch and ride their bikes in the neigbhood.

People walk in the park and in town while little ones walk to

school with no fear.

There are many churches in little Menard for people to go pray

knowing that GOD is here.

It has a small clinic to take care of people

with an EMS which keeps them here.

The nursing home is where older people live it’s much like home

because there family is near.
