Little Voice

Dear Little Voice

That lingers in my head,

Why must you be constantly murmuring,

Talking,

Screaming,

Even when I try to go to bed?

You make me overthink,

And self-analyze

Over and

Over and

Over again,

Always making me feel insecure,

Like I am not good enough,

I’m a failure,

I’m not the best version of me,

Why can’t you stop

Or just go away?

I don’t want you here,

And I never will,

Because you’re just a

Voice

Inside my head.
