a little while longer

stop it.

stop trying to make me into someone I’m not

stop thinking that I’m gonna change for you

stop thinking I’m gonna cry for you

because I’m not.

 i love myself too much

im not gonna turn cold just because you did me wrong

i wont

i won’t let the cold world change me

i won’t let it bring me down

your storms water the soil in MY ground

and as you continue to rain on my parade i just grow bigger and stronger

yes.

let it rain a little while longer
