Little Wolf

They told Little Red

Not to go

The woods - a

Dangerous place

She laughed

Smiled a little

And pictured her

Grandmother's face

Later

That evening

With blood

On the walls

The police

The woodsman

They all

Were appalled

A Wolf

She said

Had attacked

In the light

Fierce

With large teeth

And eyes

Without sight

Upon further

Searching

The door was

Still locked

And the

Look in

Red's eyes

It was not shock

With murder in

Her eyes

She confessed

All the lies

Little Red

There is no wolf
