Little Yellow Bird

Little Yellow Bird

With feathers so yellow

Growing and exploring

On your own

For the first time

But Parents watching you closely

Free at this point

Is too good to believe

Take your chances

Fly high as the sky

Enjoy life while it lasts

Treasure every moment

Don't take things for granted

And don't forget

To fly south for the Winter

Time to fly back

But soon

New responsibilities will arise

You would have already loved and lost

Finally get your chance

To soar higher than the skies

Never forget the little yellow bird
