To want, to want; oh but to warrant

a lock and key, soundless safety

swiftly adapting in glee;

crush my enemies.

To want, to want; oh but to warrant

a blacksmith's hands noisily rubbing;

ruminating the rubble

of his lost identity.

To want, to need; oh to feel

a soft, happy touch,

lighting torches through trenches

of cavernous depths,

never to see.
