To Live

Galatians 2:19-21~ "For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have crucificed with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose."'

"If you live for people's acceptance, you will die of their rejection." ~ Lecrae

Can someone explain to me why would anyone want to live for the world instead of living for God and Him alone?

To live for the world instead of Jesus is like living for something or an idol or false god that won't save, protect, or ever in a lifetime satisfy the needs of the human body or flesh. An earthly pleasure that ultimately and absolutely won't last and will fade away when every earthly materialistic thing does.

Isaiah 40:6-8~ "A voice says, "cry!" And I said, "what shall I cry?" All flesh is grass, and its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the Lord blows on it; surely the people are grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

To live for Christ instead of living for world is like living a life of freedom, it is living a life knowing that God is there, that he is going to protect, and that He does save.

Living a life for Christ is having the assurance that we have a spot in heaven and eternity with Christ Jesus! Living a life for Christ consists of having we need in Him. A love like no other, everlasting satisfaction, hope and peace for our souls.

"I'd rather stand with God and be condemned by the world, rather than stand with the world and be condemned by God." ~ Denzel Washington

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!
