Live to Die

Forgive me God, for I have sinned

My lies spread through the heavy wind

And if I see your powerful ray

I’ll live to fight another day

But first I must confess to you

Before my soul can split in two

So when I fall or waste away

I’ll live to cry another day

My insides call for you to come

But deep inside, I need to run

Just strike me down to end my way

I’ll live to die another day

I’ll live to die another day

Those words, they hurt my tongue and heart

Your merciful glare hits me like a dart

I’ll live to die the perfect way
