Live the Dream

We say all men are created equal, Yet it seems like we’re just repeating evils. How can you claim that we’re all just the same, When you act like some were made just to blame. We judge each other by skin and color Acting as if that’s all that matters. We’ve worked so hard, we’ve come so far Yet with equality in mind we’re miles apart. Once we can look beyond the surface And see we’re all here with a purpose We’ll see what equality is meant to be And then we’ll be living MLK’s dream.
