I melt away 

There are no words to say

I all I can do is sputter

or merely utter

That tore

Down to my very core

There is more than a feeling

You really got my senses reeling

Does it make you glad

To to watch people sad

I have so much I could scream and say

Yet, I close my eyes and pray

It's all I can do

It's what is the truest true

It helps when my heart is the bluest blue

He makes me new

He helps me forgive you

So instead of pout and wallow in self doubt

I forgive

This way I can go on and live

The chains have fallen to the ground
