To live for her

If one day I had attained

All that a man could need,

My inner soul would still be pained

By a desire no thing can feed

There are many things to have in this world;

Whether bought, earned, or won.

But my entire heart stays cold

Without that special one.

Things may seem real good in this life

But they will all soon go away.

The entire purpose of our worldly strife

Is to find a love that will not stray.

Only one can fill that hole,

Deep inside your heart.

And once that space inside is full,

You two can never part.

She fills a space inside of you,

That you never knew you had.

And when you hold her close to you

It melts away all the bad.

Inside you feel this peaceful feeling,

As your eyes begin to beam.

And you know that you are dealing

With the one that’s meant to be.

With her you can do anything,

You could break through any wall.

You grow a new set of wings

You feel like you’re ten feet tall.

I would travel the world to see her,

If I had to walk the whole way through.

I’d give up my life for her…

But I’ll live for her, too.
