Live, Laugh, Love

Live

You stole my life

You watched me struggle with my strife

As my mind is jumbled

Your stomach grumbles

As you talk about what you'd like to do with your time

You waste mine and save not a dime

Our two lives which used to be one

And now I'm left broken and undone

Laugh

You took my laughter

And stole my happily ever after

Instead of expelling my fears

You brought forth so many tears

So many smiles I've had to fake

While inside my heart slowly breaks

Our two grins we used to share

Is now my burden to bear

Love

You stole my love

Even though I fit in your arms like a glove

From the moment our relationship was born

We had to deal with our parents' scorn

Two years have flown by

And you can't say I didn't try

But now just like this ring starts to chip

My faith in us is beginning to slip
