Live Without or Live With Doubt

I picked you up only one year ago,

had no idea my talent would show.

Watched countless videos, eyeing the frets,

learning my favorites, made by the vets.

From Zeppelin to the Stones I mastered each song,

Listening to a verse, and playing along.

It was never just oldies, I learned what I felt,

which hit the emotions my mind had been dealt.

You were an outlet to me, a way to express,

a way to seperate me from the rest.

I felt so accomplished when I nailed my first solo,

when I play you I feel like I shut down the show.

You let me feel free, you let me find a trend,

like a dog with a bone, you became a close friend.

Now I can't live without you, I know that's for sure.

Like the memory of when I picked you at the guitar store.
