To Live is to Write

To live is to write.

To write is to live.

Without my pen,

Without my key strokes,

Without a simple notebook and pencil,

I feel lost.

Like a body with no shadow.

My shadow is mine,

But, it's filled with letters.

Filled with my thoughts,

My soul.

I write this all out,

Setting pen to paper,

My mind becomes clearer,

My thoughts flow,

I begin to understand.

Understand myself,

Life.

No matter how hard it gets, I write.

I live.

I express myself.

To live is to write.

I write to live.

To understand.

Become myself.
