Live Your Life Today

As my mentor always said,

get out of bed.

Live life today,

have fun and play!

Life is short,

so play a sport.

Time is running out,

Hang with your friends in the dugout.

Fill it will love,

cuz nobody deserves a shove.

There's no room for hate,

and try not to be late.

Stay up till dawn.

When today is gone,

Theres no getting it back.

Then time for a midnight snack.

Life is what you make it,

so stand up after a hit,

Make it great,

go on a date.

It's time for me to be me,

take time to be free.

I need to be young,

no need to hold my toungue.

Be inspired right now,

take this vow.

Do it now and not later,

be a lover not a hater.

As my mentor always said,

get out of bed.

Live life today,

have fun and play!
