Lively Lion, Longing Lamb
He is a lion, loud and strong,
making the walls tremble with fear,
acting as a king, powerful and majestic,
kind and cool to others.
She is a lamb, quiet and weak,
moving through the halls unseen,
being mocked and feeling graceless,
shunned and overlooked by everyone.
He lives a free life style,
unafraid and over-socialized,
buzzing and zipping through places,
without wondering whether he is liked.
She cowers away from existence,
nervous, fragile, and exhausted,
squeaking and chirping beautifully,
prancing and pondering on thoughts.
The lion is lively and loved,
on the prowl for more friends,
buffed arms and puffed chest,
soft eyes with steady breathing.
The lamb is lonely and longing,
waiting for someone to notice her,
shoes talking and lips trembling,
traced lines of worry on her face.
He is a lion, she is a lamb,
he is strong, she is weak,
she is quiet, he is loud,
she definitely knows who he is,
but he has no idea about her.
