Living

I live in a world where I'm too afraid to look back, because the past is the last place I wanna be. I live in a world where the clothes that I wear determines what I am as a person. I live in a world where there are more gang bangers on the street than kids in the desk seats. I live in a world where little kids want to become rappers instead of superman or a super hero or a doctor or a lawyer. I live in a world where females would rather shake they ass on a video and thinking they a bad bitch, instead of being a woman and an intelligent one. I live in a world where we have to wake up everyday asking god to let us see another day; because its some hating ass niggas trying to send us to our resting place. In a world that makes me think of the reason I wanna live this life before I go to sleep, to rest in the only place where I have peace: And that place is in my mind. Living in a world that shows me that being a female don't stop a male from hitting you in the face. In a world where blood relatives is just as loyal to you as they are to a random nigga on the street. I live in a world where my dreams of just making it has become the the only thing that makes me wanna stay strong and continue another day. I live in a world where bringing someone down is an everyday thing. I live in a world where fitting in is better than standing out. In a world where people tell me " I ain't Shit" on a daily. But you know what? Imma live in this world to show I'm gon make it. Imma live in this world because I'm different Imma live in this world because im gon make a difference. I'm living n this world to stand out with my head held high, Because I am The world I live in.
