living and breathing poetry

she had conquered her demons in the form of written words on blank canvases.

her poetic outlook on self discovery saved her from her deceitful mind.

she took her flaws and twisted them into something of beauty with just the tip of a pen and some ink.

daily tasks can numb exquisite minds

and pour hatred into pure souls;

bitterness can become your new cup of tea

but it is up to you if you wish to drink.

swallow the thread of empty words your lips ache to release

and instead take her pen and some ink and join her in this bittersweet world of chaotic poetry.

allow that lull in you to expand and grow and explode into greatness.

carry it along with newfound inspiration and don’t ever hold it back.

carry it until it starts to carry you into the stormy atmosphere that’s hiding just under the surface of those tired eyes.

let it all out as your tomorrows fade into yesterday’s.

until it is time to whisper sweet goodbyes.
