Living is Awesome

Shoot to wound, not to kill.

Bang! as the bullet tumbles down the barrel of of the glock 22

I can hear my mom's laugh, and I start cry

shoot to wound, not to kill

Next, Images of Christmas day flash across my eyes so fast; I lmost miss it

Christmas was awesome, the best time of year

It's a collection of little moments like this that makes life awesome

I listen closely, as I hear jingle bell rock, for the last time.

Shoot to wound, not to kill

Images of my graduation, "the best day of my life", are soon interrupted

As blood begins to fill my lungs and air leaves my body

My spirit follows, and I waive farewell

'Breaking news, another unarmed African Amrican has been murdered by a police officer"
