Living The Dream
There she was with her long red hair
She is pictured either underwater or land
Ariel is her name
Her voice got taken when she was on land
Some may see that as losing an imortant part of her happiness for a new type of happiness
But to me
The water was blood and thats why her hair was red
Blood from her aching soul that needed help
Aching soul that needed a way out
Ursula was the one who set her free
The one many was afraid of
Recognition of your problems
On land she had no voice but she gained legs
The voice she no longer had was her demons
The legs she had gained was hope
The man she was chasing after was life
She gave up what she had known
Sadness, Solitary, And being unable to breathe.
For what she had dreamed of
Happiness, Support, And self-acceptance
The voice she gained at the end wasn't her demons
It was her new voice
Voice of Peace
