Living is Dying

Death scares me

When I forget

It takes care to remind

That it leaves no one behind

Death haunts me

Foreshadowing my own demise

It ends my dreams

A pitch black scene

Death will take me

How can I be unafraid

When death I can not comprehend

Would it be easier if I knew how it ends

Death scared me

But every day that I wake up

Death has not won

I’ll celebrate life before I am gone
