Living a Lie

Living in a world that I never knew Now I know it is all true I thought all those people were telling me lies Now I know, I should have seen it through everyone else's eyes I have grown up NOT knowing the monster you are Now I must live with this horrible scar You have betrayed me with your pathological lies This is no fairytale these are my family ties Hurt disgust and anguish is all I feel Your justification will not help me to heal I know the truth as much as it burns Your lies have become the way the world turns Although your intensions were good........ How dare you, betray my trust, and loyalty to you How dare you sit back and make me look like a fool I defended you in every way I look like a fool, every day So now I know what you are You are a monster by far

I really felt the pain in this one....So sorry that this was inspired by something terrible, but it truly is amazing how something so wrong as betrayal can lead to wonderful art such as this.
