Living Life

For the last time, on my way to school

I felt excitement oozing out of me

The days Laughter, fading and fading into sadness

I was 18, I stare at the window

Seeing friends leave in depressing tears

My heart was a cracked egg inside my soul

“What are you going to do with your life?”

I questioned my friend

We have been wondering for years

With strange confidence, he answered

“I am going to live it”

Months later, I look back to graduation

The separation we both encountered,

Reminded by the lost, undecided plans.

I who had a future, live out my fate

Still staring out the window wondering of change,

Breathing and feeling my small life.
