Living this life of lies

Living this life of lies

Might even believe I’m the lord of flies

My minds not mine

But a simple pleasure of time

All it cost was a dime to clear my crimes

Now all I hear are broken ties

Of the moments cries

Shames the game

Of the man with no-name

Who came with a ballad of empty dreams

Now the T.V. screens have faded

And all that’s left is a marionette

Veiled from reality by its owners control

He’s no Pinocchio

But he’s just like you and me

The rooms gotten dark and I see

It was all a deception

So I ripped the umbilical cords

No longer fed I fled

Because I realized I was ...
