Living in a Mask

Dear my First Love,

When i first met you, I never dreamed you would steal my heart like you did.

Once i let you in enough, you took over and completely wrecked my world.

You transformed me into a differnt person; I was the worst possible version of myself.

You broke me and could not careless. You left instead of helping my pick up the peices.

You thought I would crawl back to you, but I am stronger than you think.

I turned myself back into someone I was proud of without you.

So, yes, you were my first love and I will always remember you.

However, I am not hiding who I am for you or anyone ever again.

Sincerely,  The Best Me.
