"Living Penalty"

"Living Penalty" The ghost of your love, Haunts me from all around. A phantom red rose, Sits silently on my finger tips. My dress is blood soaked now, My hair burnt to ash. An infected scratch, Thought it was nothing. It all brings me back, You said I was stunning. Stood there, my favorite blue dress. You drew me in, I am but a fish, Hooked on one of your subtle lines. Here, now, I sit. This old house, They say I plague it, I belong in the pit. But those fires could never be as hot, As this living punishment.
