The Living Puppet

I am a living man
Or am I a puppet trying to reach expectations I can't fulfill?
I am a man that leads
Or do I make mistakes constantly never finding solutions?
Just standing still as I'm tied up to the future of the life that is wanted for me
I never wanted this life
Or did I?
As I am trying to achieve things that I don't want I hear silence as I search for answers
God is it really you are you trying to punish me or open my eyes to see a picture?
Please cut me free of the strings of success as I want to fly free and never worry about a thing
I want to be able to live my life on my time and by my rules...
It's hard to do all these things at once but I have to remember
Im a leader
Or am I?
And I have to remember I'm a living man
Or am I just a puppet?
