living in a world burdened by sin

I'm subconsciously blind to the facts Of a nation claiming to be equal When the wars that are fought can't be stopped For it's not about the color of skin But the hatred followed by our sins Wondering will it ever end Cause my mid can't seem to process The need to be in a world blinded by hate When God says we're all the same And yet we're so eager to kill What we don't understand No I'm not mad I'm simply saying Why live in a world without equality And yet burdened with the blood of my brethren Burned down for the color of skin Not a black or white can change my race You see this is nothing new to me Just history's greatest repetition Of man's greatest need to conquer and defeat What he doesn't understand A world without equality And yet burdened by the blood of my brethren Burned down for the color of skin Wondering will it ever end
