I am...

I am a girl who refuses to believe that what I see is what I get

A girl who is fiercely loyal to those she loves

A girl who is not afraid of loving the scarred and broken

Because she knows

A girl who believes in the innocence of children

The power that they hold in their sticky little fingers

Fingers that try to grasp every inch of their universe

Milk and honey flows from their mouths

Hopes, Dreams, and Promises

Because she remembers

I am a girl who cares for people

Someone who loves those with beating hearts

Because I know
