Loans

When models are out on the catwalk, they are not marketing clothes they are selling bodies.
Those who admire them do not care for the price of their shirts or shoes.
They are paying top dollar for the skin and bones frame.
You would think that they were the wealthiest people according to the number of ribs you can count or the number of teeth missing.
How far is too far?
They go days without eating.
It is like putting money in the bank.
Saving up for something better.
A gap too big between their thighs, bones too defined, for a piece of mind they never even got.
All their savings spent on buying time.
A cracker, two almonds, three grapes.
These are only loans.
Of course they have to be repaid.
Another three days of starving yourself for what?
Will you wait to go bankrupt, until you have nothing left to lose?
Or will you go into debt.
Because you owe it to yourself to make up for the damages.
Seeing those models made you sell all that you had.
You were evicted from your own mind.
But I will lend you a hand.
I will lend you my shoulder to lean on.
I will lend you my ear.
I will help you make the repairs on your worn out self.
You won't even have to pay me back.
