Locked Away

Dear Father, Absence of your love, Broke my heart, before I knew what love stood for. American Hero fighting to save others, Made it through the bombs. Welcome home to the real war. Is the electricity out? Your calls haven’t made it through. The powers back on, you're yelling saying it’s my fault, I’m the adult. 13 year old girl, crying on the floor, I just wanted your love. You taught me a new word, Uncomfortable. I wanted love from a man who loved too much. A man with the Devil’s touch. Was it worth it, being locked up, For weathering a flower of an angel? You took her voice, Silenced our talks Thanks Dad, Cause now my sister’s a stranger and father is just a word. From,AHunter
