Locked In Fear(His Cries)

Lawless juvenile,

Life style flawless.

Degrading bumps in the road with a file,

No bigger than my hand.

Concrete vacation,

Push ups on the cold ground.

Pull ups above

From my codefendant

Whiplash from the flashback

Waking up from cold sweats soaking my sheets.

Kiss my pendant,

To remember to carry out peace

Concrete vacation

Is it really all a dream?

Becoming reality is how it seems.

If so,

I’m grabbing my pajamas and ripping out the seams.

Slowly,

Unstitching the heart, that was once entwined on my sleeve,

Bony.

In and out of consciousness

Saw myself through my child’s prospective.

I want to send my kids on the bus and wave.

While my kids wave me off because the man is a kid who couldn’t behave

So maybe I’m not a man at all,

But it’s not therapeutic staring at white walls.

Withdrawals

From the bank,

Everything left that I have.

No commissary from anyone I broke them in half,

Again.

Again, I remember it was just a dream.

Bars clinking,

Clinking,

Then woke up with a scream.
