Lollipops and Candy Pops
Lollipops, lollipops
Candy pops
Princess Lily of the Lollies
In the game of candy
A land where sugar flows like milk
A place where sour is as sweet as honey
A land where sweets are silk
A place where kindness replaces money
A land where nothing matters
Candy pops, candy pops
Lollipops
Crown Prince of the Licorice
In the game of candy
A land where sugar is pure black
A place where sweet is considered dour
A land where clothes are spun from webs
A place where all are completely sour
A land where money reigns above
A place where kindness suffers
A land where everything matters
Lollipops, candy pops
Lollipops and smiles
Candy pops, Lollipops
Licorice and lies
So who can unite the opposites?
The ones who feel it's right
And who are the ones who feel it's right?
Alas, the answer is not so simple.
The ones who can unite?
The loose ends
The ones who can tie them?
The lost
The ones who can find them?
The prisoners
The ones with the keys?
The jailers
Lollipops and candy pops,
What's really underneath?
A game bigger than you can see
A game that is far beyond our reach
One not known by you or me
