LOML

once upon a love poem ago,

there was ART.

artistic love? or love artistry?

I’d adapt the moon's gravity

for your love.

a love that was sculpted in our frame of minds.

its beauty like an artistic escape

from loneliness.

I flaunt the pulchritude of

the portrait of our love

to strip away the abstract mosaics that we expect.

apply the hues and remove our darknesses.

smile at our story

demonstrated through the calligraphy.

our handprint graffiti on the enamel walls,

an enlightened reminder for a lifetime.

a magical kind of love as the moon rises.

shine on us to give a reflective flair.

memories flooding as I sculpt the sculpture.

apply a quick sunset by the lake on a canvas.

to witness our problems fade away like the day.

flick white paint and form stars.

to make a wish upon each night.

a slight swerve to create the moon.

to light up our world at nights.

sketch two bodies to represent us.

be my mine and I will be your yours.

be the love of my life.
