Loneliness

I was ignored I was casted aside Uncertainty became my hero I saw myself as zero No one gave me a listening ear My bed became my comfort Hiding away from the world Became my watch word Daily I waited for acknowledgment Daily I waited for avowal Unfortunately I was ignored I was treated like an alien I have no company My heart and my brain Became my best friends We discuss from morning to night They were my only source of comfort But Alas! My soul went on a journey To a place of no return Then my importance was made known Unfortunately my present was missing.
