Loneliness
Loneliness
The feeling of missing out on meaningful and important chapters in your life, feeling worthless. These are some damaging affects of loneliness. When the sun is shinning but you still feel the cold night, or that feeling you get when you are not sad but you just feel really empty.
Being left alone in the dark sinking deep into your thoughts. Loneliness is a fire which stays close to the skin to see how much pain someone can stand before running into the water.
Being alone is like dust on your skin becoming thicker, heavier with every empty day until your eyes are closed and you can no longer open them and your lungs are full you can no longer breath. Suffering in silence, faking a smile in public nobody will know the struggles you go through.
Being lonely can be painful. It causes the heart to sting like being stung by the most painful insects in the world.
Loneliness likes to come out at night instead of sleep, to sit beside the bed. Like a tired baby, you watch lights slowly get blown out, slowly weaken until there is no force left to fight back.Your words become meaningless, everyone become strangers and you turn into the dark monster your parents tried to protect you from becoming.
