Loneliness Is

My heart cries

for a second chance

bleeds for your embrace

dies as I watch you go

and love someone else.

I starve from lack of love

and evil thoughts

begging for nothing more

than you to come back.

Fading, I hope to disappear

and no one will know what happened

and I can decay into a ghost

never suffer anymore

and let you be happy

because I love you.

I sit alone in silence

pleading for you

to return to me

it’s a blind hope

but it’s all I have knowing

that this truly is

what loneliness is.
