Loneliness
Have you ever been alone?
Really alone?
Have you ever had nobody to talk to?
Have you ever felt like you can not share what you need to share?
There is no pain in this world like loneliness
The waiting, the waiting, the waiting and the waiting.
Then at some point, you stop waiting.
But you don't lose hope, not yet.
You stop waiting because, eventually it will come.
Oh yeah?
After a while of hoping patiently, you lose your patience and you lose your hope.
This is when the pain starts.
Hope is the foundation of the human spirit,
And without hope we are helpless against the unforgiving Attacks of life.
Without hope it is simply a matter of time before we crumble.
But the crumbling comes later.
Before the crumble, we must shatter.
And, more often than not we shatter ourselves.
We shatter ourselves after hope is gone and the loneliness has been accepted.
We shatter ourselves with one simple question; why?
Because I'm a loser!
Because why would someone like me?
Because I don't deserve a friend!
After our foundation is gone and after we shatter ourselves we crumble.
We crumble like the fragile human beings we are.
In a fairy tale, the hero will crumble from bad luck and triumphantly return to battle.
This is real life.
After we lose our hope, there is no going back into battle.
Loneliness is a powerful pain that can desolate even the strongest human spirits.
If loneliness really can do all of these terrible things, why is it so hard to say, hi how was your day?
