Loneliness

I have never
understood
before,

Surely, I had bad moments in the past

But never so
purposeless
or as meaningless

As this one.

I kept repeating to myself,

There is no confusion like the confusion of a simple  mind

But even that leaves me with sweat breaking out

And
no words
being spoken.

In this moment,

I have become
less and less real.

I never said a word as I was once again left
alone.

My dream must have seemed so close

That I could hardly grasp it

But it was long forgotten on the spot

Once again leaving me an empty and a
lonely fool.
