Loneliness
My problem is that I too often get drunk on humans - pop them like pills. I fall in love easily, knowing only too goddamn well that they won’t fill the gaping void inside me. I’m trying so hard to adapt. But it hurts, being this alone. I have to be careful; it feels like a freight train to my fucking gut just to think about how isolated, how empty, how lonely I am. I have to tiptoe around thoughts like these on nights like this. My fingers are begging to cradle a blade again; I feel like I’m spiraling out of control. It’s painful, drowning in your own goddamn loneliness.
