loneliness

The chains keep draging me down

I try to reach the surface, but the chains keep winning

There is no bottom to this sea of despair

As much as I fight, I can not win

I have fought for so long 

I have grown so tired

"Why must I keep fighting" I always ask myself

I remember the world up above

So cruel and filled with hate 

I felt suffocated in that world

And I just stop struggling

Letting the chains drag me

To the void in this pitch black sea

Until the day I can remember

Why I tried to fight to reach the surface 

But that day seems to be going ever farther away

So I fear this sea is where I will stay until my time is up
