Loneliness

Alone, broken, shattered and ruined

Was how my heart felt that afternoon

Months went by and I stood still

Turning into the dust on the book shelves

I lay awake at night dreading what’s to come

The demons have arrived

The torment has begun

Alone ,broken ,shattered and ruined

Was how I felt that evening too

Jealously and rage was what was inside

No one cares about what I felt

I don’t know why

I’ll be gone soon and no one will care

Scars and violence was what was there

Smiles, tears, happiness and joy

Was what I missed the most about being loved
