Loneliness
The night can be lonely,
if you are by yourself.
When there's one person only,
and nobody else.
The moon is never alone,
because it has the stars.
It is always home,
never going too far.
The sun can be bright,
high up there in the sky.
Shining down light,
from way up high.
Every animal has its pair,
a significant other if you will.
There's always someone else there,
there is no empty void to fill.
So why do we feel lonely,
or like there's no one there?
Don't be asking me,
I don't really care.
I guess it depends on the person,
and if they love affection.
The should try aversion,
and a little bit of reflection.
To find out why they really feel
the way that they do,
they need to find out if it's real,
and how to make it through.
How to make it through the pain,
of being by themselves,
and how to refrain,
from wanting anything else.
Anything else that can distract you from being the best you, and going where you
need to go, is not just anything.
