Loneliness

Loneliness at 22,

Lonliness is realizing you have no one to turn to. 

That those you could, just couldn't bear this burden.

That the ones you love cannot save you. 

Loneliness is realizing you are on your own,

That there is no one to save you but yourself, 

Loneliness is realizing you need to choose.

To put you before anyone else,

Or be put back into the place that brought you here.

It is an empty space,

Where your heart will break.

When you wake up knowing,

That you just have to keep going. 

Loneliness is when you have a choice.

To be your everything,

Or let it all slip away. 

Loneliness brings you a decision. 

You decide whether you live or die,

You decide where you go in life.

Loneliness brings your salvation,

A life of free will,

Where you make the choice to survive.
