LONELY

LONELY

Once I was so lonely

I had friends it seemed

but those nights were so alone

when I lay in an empty bed

with only thoughts of you

if only I could empty my head

but there is nothing to replace

the visions of your face

so I fear the night approach again

when I must face the loneliness

that the emptiness of you leaves

to have once tasted your sweetness

to feel your touch upon my skin

to feel our hearts beating as one

but now there are only empty dreams

that seem so distance from me

as to be impossible to be real

I would give all my life for one

night with you again

Once I was so lonely

I had friends it seemed

but those nights were so alone

when I lay in an empty bed

with only thoughts of you

if only I could empty my head

but there is nothing to replace

the visions of your face

so I fear the night approach again

when I must face the loneliness

that the emptiness of you leaves

to have once tasted your sweetness

to feel your touch upon my skin

to feel our hearts beating as one

but now there are only empty dreams

that seem so distance from me

as to be impossible to be real

I would give all my life for one

night with you again
