Lonely Girl

At some nights when I am happy or sad,

I wait for my eyes to horribly cry,

I sit down and do think of my dad.

By morning it’ll hurt to get them dry.

And I have come to be really down,

I hope you see when I try with my all,

On some nights I dream I go off to drown.

No matter the effort I tend to fall.

When I truly feel like I am alone,

I wish he was actually around,

I think back to when you were my backbone.

And now I look at you and start to frown.

To know all I need is a hug,

I guess that you are my assassin drug.
