A "Lonely" Island

On an island all alone

no one around just you.

What would you take?

I'd take a book!

Books are powerful,

books are great,

books can take you almost any place.

While on that lonely island

all by yourself,

a book can imagine you anywhere.

From hill to vale,

from sea to frozen sea.

Books can take our isolation

and make it our adoration.

On that lonely island

the right books changes life.
