A Lonely Night
Once upon a lonely day
There was a dreary and gloomy fray
Out came a quiet night
A lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
There I sat alone and lonely
Beginning to feel the fright slowly
But I told myself its not a fright
Its only a lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
There out of the darkness, came a quiet sound
Like a distant pound
Could it be the evil Knight
No it is only a lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
I went closer to the door
Dragging my feet across the floor
Feeling the terrible fright
It is only the lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
I opened the gray door
And out of the black I saw
There came my fright
Out of the lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
It was only the light
There to take away my fright
And free me from the evil might
Out of the lonely lonely night
That and nothing more
