Lonely nights are the longest

I lay here waiting on a dream. Wishing in my head to just be able to dream. As the hours keep ticking away constant reminder that today is a new day but feels no different than before. Wish I had someone to call who am I kidding I'm the only one stuck in this lonely prison that's called my head and a shallow grave that is my heart.the blood pumps but no life is there just emptiness. Wishing on something or someone to reach out say hey I got you . Truth is I want a hero. In my hour of need because lonely nights are the longest.
